Inspired by jackets worn by British postal workers in the 1940s, the Lot.329 carries a more tailored structure than traditional American workwear. The pattern preserves that sharper construction while keeping period details intact, including the two buttonholes at the left chest originally used for attaching postal badges.
The jacket is cut from a Supima cotton twill first used in Taiga Takahashi’s debut collection. The fabric reproduces a 3/1 left-hand twill based on American military textiles from the 1910s and is finished with a smooth, refined hand. Each piece is garment-dyed with sumi ink and mud, giving the jacket the uneven depth and aged character of a well-worn vintage garment.
