Lot.209 Buckle-Backed Trouser - Damaged Mud Dye
LOT.209 Buckle-Backed Trouser is a unique version of LOT.704 Denim Trousers c.1920’s. These high-rise pants feature a wide silhouette with straight vertical lines from thighs to hems, while preserving essential design elements such as round curves on the front pockets and a buckle-back on the backside. Produced using an original dense west-point fabric (=uniform twill) woven on an old-type power loom, which is typically used for the uniforms of the United States Military Academy at West Point. The fabric, known for its dense and glossy finish, is made of two ply fine combed cotton yarn, making it thinner than regular chino cloth and originally designed for senior officers’ uniforms. The DAMAGED MUD DYED BROWN color is achieved through careful traditional dyeing techniques of Amami Oshima, adding a distressed effect for a worn look. The iron buckle on these trousers is an original design created from a mold.
