Buco J-24 - Smoky Jim

A Real McCoy's J-24 jacket, customized with jewel studs. Each stud is set by hand, one by one. Studded accessories—such as kidney belts and saddlebags—were released by various manufacturers during the motorcycle boom. The jewels were touted for their reflective properties, and this custom style, which added a dimension of functionality, was subsequently applied to leather jackets as well.

• Leather: Horsehide / Vegetable-tanned, pigment finish

• Front zipper: 50s square type, brass, cotton tape
  
• Cuff & side zippers: 50s Talon, brass, cotton tape
  
• D-pocket & chest zippers: 7-link chain pull, brass, cotton tape
  
• Studs: Iron studs
