Lot.317 Stand-Up Collar Jacket - Brown

This jacket is a result of a study and an arrangement personally developed in the late 1930s by the owner of a British coat manufacturer for his recreational sports activities. Key features include single-piece raglan sleeves with wide allowances for unrestricted movement, a deep front placket, and a zipper with a U-shaped stopper that adds a touch of nostalgia. The fabric, our original oatmeal (tweed) featuring linen weft, has been recreated using Shetland wool to mimic the dry wool of almost a century ago. Diverse colors are blended into the yarn, providing a rich depth to the design.
