Lot.315 Railroad Jacket - Logwood Dyed Gray

This redesigned coverall is based on the workwear worn by British railroad workers in the 1940s. Features such as the sewn-on collar and reinforcement stitching on the waist pockets are typical of British workwear from that era. The original change buttons have been replaced with metal buttons, matching LOT.214 as a coordinated ensemble. The waist-point fabric is treated with LOGWOOD GRAY, a natural dye, and Amami Oshima’s mud dyeing, a common practice in British workwear of that time.
