1947 501 - New Rinse

Levi's Vintage Clothing

The 1947 501 has become the blueprint for modern American denim manufacturers and arugably one of the most famous fits of denim of all time. This fit is straight with a higher rise and snug top lock. Think James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause. This was the first model introduced after World War II and was slimmed down from the workwear look to appeal to the middle class. This pair has been through a single wash, making sizing easier and starting the aging process which gives you a softer and slubbier look right away, but will still age beautifully with wear.

Straight fit with a higher rise and snug top lock. Fits true to size. If you normally wear a size 32, you can size to a 32 as these are pre-shrunk and stretch should be minimal.
