Dating back to 1922 and some say even before that, Hudson Bay blankets were fashioned into jackets for their extreme warmth and stylish appearance that the point blanket offered. The Canadian brand Hudson Bay was making beautiful wool blankets early on and trading them with Native Americans for furs, both items being considered extremely valuable. The lines indicate the size of the blankets even when folded, which gives them the name of "point blankets". This red and black version is rare due to the coloring and irregularities that make it so unique. Looks great on both men and women, and both the outer shell and lining are in great condition.
