We operate in Mountain Time. Orders are shipped Monday through Friday. Orders that you place online before noon M-F usually begin shipping the same day, pending payment verification and availability. Orders placed after noon on Fridays will begin processing the following Monday. Although we make every effort to keep our items in stock, occasionally we may not have inventory available to fulfill your order. If we are out of stock on an item that you've ordered, we will notify you via email and refund your initial form of payment.

We offer free shipping for orders with product value over $200. You can choose your preferred method (UPS Ground or USPS Priority) from the free options in checkout. We also offer expedited shipping:

For orders less than $200, you can choose from the following shipping methods:
- USPS Priority: $5
- UPS Ground: $10

WHAT ABOUT SHIPPING OUTSIDE THE US?
***During COVID-19 Pandemic, we have heard from our customers outside the US that there are delays in transit and in customs with First Class Mail. These delays are outside of our control, so we are suggesting at this time to consider Priority, which is not experiencing the same delays.
To our friends outside the US, we use Postal Mail - originating with USPS and in most cases passed on to your own country’s Postal Service.

WHAT IS THERE TO KNOW ABOUT CUSTOMS?
The additional time required for your package to pass through customs is outside of our control and varies by country. At the time your package is delivered you will be responsible for paying duties and taxes, which may be as high as 30% of your order value. Duties and taxes are assessed by your local customs office and are outside our control, so we recommend that you contact them before you place your order if you would like to receive an estimate of your total cost. International orders that are refused at delivery become abandoned in your country so unfortunately we will be unable to issue a refund for refused orders.
HOW CAN I PROTECT AGAINST LOSS OR THEFT?
We assume responsibility for your shipped package until it is marked 'delivered' or 'notice left'. If you would like your package to be shipped with a signature required, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We also offer package insurance during the checkout process. Canoe Club is proud to partner with Route, the leader in package protection and tracking solutions. By selecting Route+ at checkout your order will be protected from damage, loss*, or theft. In the unfortunate case that your order never comes or is damaged upon arrival, you can easily file a claim with Route and receive a replacement or be fully reimbursed. We are excited to offer this service to you and we highly recommend you use Route+ package protection at checkout.
*Claims for packages marked "delivered" must be filed after 5 days and before 15 days from the date the package was marked "delivered." Claims for packages presumed to be lost (where the status is not "delivered") must be filed after 7 days (20 days for international) and within 30 days from the last checkpoint.

DO YOU COLLECT SALES TAX?
We do not collect sales or use taxes in all states. For states imposing sales or use taxes, your purchase is subject to use tax unless it is specifically exempt from taxation. Your purchase is not exempt merely because it is made over the Internet or by other remote means. Many states require purchasers to file a sales/use tax return at the end of the year reporting all of the taxable purchases that were not taxed and to pay tax on those purchases. Details of how to file these returns may be found at the websites of your respective taxing authorities.
For Oklahoma purchasers, the tax may be reported and paid on the Oklahoma individual income tax return [Form 511] or by filing a consumer use tax return [Form 21-1]. The referenced forms and corresponding instructions are available on the Oklahoma Tax Commission website, www.tax.ok.gov. We are required to provide the notice above for Oklahoma purchases based on Oklahoma law (HB 2359) enacted in June 2010.
For South Dakota purchasers, the tax may be paid on the South Dakota use tax form. The use tax form and corresponding instructions are available on the South Dakota Department of Revenue website. We are required to provide the notice (but not the reports) above for South Dakota purchases based on South Dakota law (SB 146) enacted in April 2011.
For Vermont purchasers, the tax may be reported and paid on the Vermont use tax form. The use tax form and corresponding instructions are available on the Vermont department of taxes website. We are required to provide the notice above for Vermont purchases based on Vermont law (H 436) enacted in May 2011.
CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?
If there is an issue with your purchase after you've made your purchase please email us at email@example.com. If your order has not shipped, you may cancel your purchase: If made prior to 1pm MST, up until 3pm MST the same day, or If made after 1pm MST, up until 3pm MST the following business day.
CAN YOU HEM MY DENIM JEANS?
We offer a one-time free hemming for any jeans you buy at Canoe Club. For our customers visiting our brick and mortar, you can be measured the day you’ve committed to a new pair. If you prefer to wear them for a bit first, we can wait, just hold onto your receipt and bring them back when the time is right. If you have bought your jeans online, call the store or email customer service and we’ll get you going on your proper hem length.
We do all our hemming on a Union Special 43200g. This machine, also known as "The Bulldog," was manufactured in 1939 and was the premiere Edge Lock hemming machine. This is the machine responsible for the distinct roping look of classic American denim. This small detail, which was originally a fault in the hook timing, became the recognizable standard of American denim and made the machine sought after worldwide. It’s cool, and it’s a detail of value and quality we want to share with you.
WHAT ARE YOUR PRICING POLICIES?
We don’t offer price adjustments on previous orders if those items are marked down or promoted later in the season. We may correct or update product pricing and/or descriptions at any time and reserve the right to cancel any order based on an incorrect price or description.
WHAT IS YOUR POLICY ON RESELLING?
Our merchandise sold on our site is intended for personal use only, not for resale. We reserve the right to cancel orders that appear to be for resale purposes.
