This trainer was designed with reference to the unique sole shape of running shoes that originated in the United States in the 1970s and military boots and work shoes that originated in the United Kingdom. The upper is made of grain-faced kudu leather from Charles F. Stead, while Horween Chromexcel leather is used in areas where pressure is applied. The distinctive sole is made of a natural crepe sole attached to a layer of leather.
