1953 TYPE II Jacket - Rigid
1953 TYPE II Jacket - Rigid
Originally created in 1953 as an update to the original Type I, this jacket became the unofficial uniform for the working man. The update included an added extra pocket and a slimmer body and arm to accomodate the changing silhouettes and adoption of the jacket outside of the West Coast. This piece has a triple pleated front and darted back with adjustable waist. Made from Cone Mills denim that will age and patina, becoming uniquely worn to each owner.
This jacket fits true to size in the shoulders and body, but does sit a little higher at the true waist.
